Do I need a VPN?

No. Lowe runs on Chinese cloud services and Chinese AI models, so it works normally in mainland China.

Which languages?

English, Chinese, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese and German.

Can Lowe be wrong about school information?

Lowe answers school questions only from the school's official pages and shows the source. When something hasn't been published, it says so rather than guessing. Always check important dates with your teacher or the international office.

Is my data safe?

Lowe stores the minimum, never records what you type in its logs, and lets you download or delete all your data. See the privacy page in the app.

Is it only for HNIT?

Translation, writing, live class translation and Chinese learning work for any student in China. School answers and notices currently cover Hunan Institute of Technology; more universities can be added.

Is Lowe free?

Yes, the essentials are free forever. Every new student also gets 14 days of Premium free; after that, Premium is ¥9.9 a month, ¥29 a semester or ¥49 a year.

How do I pay for Premium?

In the web app: Me → Premium, choose a plan, then pay the exact amount shown with WeChat Pay or Alipay and tap "I've paid". Premium starts as soon as the payment is confirmed.

Can I use Lowe on an iPhone?

Yes: use the WeChat mini program, or open the web app in Safari and choose Share → Add to Home Screen. It then opens like an app.
